The 2011 Chevrolet Suburban can be easily voted as a must-have for a camping ride. The 4-door sport-utility has the capacity to accommodate up to 9-passengers and is the largest SUV of the brand, depending on the capacity you choose, ie, 1/2-ton or 3/4-ton. The multipurpose vehicle has substantial payload and towing capability as well. Behind the first-row seats, Suburban offers 137.4 cubic feet of cargo room, along with up to 8,100 lbs of towing capability (1/2-ton 1500 2WD models).When properly equipped; Suburban 2500 (3/4-ton) can tow up to 9,600 lbs. The Suburban offers the LS, LT and LTZ models, with 2WD standard (4WD optional), along with 1500 light-duty and 2500 heavy-duty series. (LTZ is available only on 1500 series). The Chevrolet Suburban 1500 2WD models offer Active Fuel Management- fuel-saving technology. Active Fuel Management technology allows seamless switches between eight and four-cylinder power to save fuel. The cars are equipped with an iron-block Vortec 5.3-liter V-8 with 320 horsepower and 335 lb.-ft. of torque. An aluminum-block version of the 5.3-liter is standard in 4WD models. The engine can run on any combination of gasoline and/or E85 fuel. The base 1LS trim level offers features including Bluetooth connectivity, rear audio controls and headphone input jacks, wood grain styling, luggage rack with center rails and body color handles and mirror caps. Depending on the model you choose, you can also enjoy features like heated seats, ultrasonic rear parking assist and DVD rear-seat entertainment system with eight-inch screen.

The most recent model of the year has included an integrated trailer brake controller for the trailering package, optional 20-inch wheels and three new exterior paint colors -Mocha Steel Metallic, Steel Green Metallic and Ice Blue Metallic in 2011 Chevrolet Suburban.
