For a Deer Valley summer guest, the Park City Arts Festival is usually held the first weekend of August. This festival showcases the work of over 200 artists. There's usually a variety of art available to buy including painting, glass, wood work, and photos. Whether you're browsing or wanting to buy, there is a great selection to see. This event also includes great food, live entertainment, and kid-friendly activities. Be ready to face a crowd. They close Main Street in Park City to traffic however shuttles are available to take you to the festival.

If you are visiting in January, be prepared for the descent of Hollywood upon this mountain town as the annual Sundance Film Festival begins. This ten day festival attracts the celebrities, but it's open to the public as well. Film screenings are offered at affordable costs. For guests who enjoy jazz music, Deer Valley Resort hosts the yearly Park City Festival in August. The beauty of the outside amphitheater combined with great music makes for a remarkable and unforgetable event.
